Thailand, is a mysterious and desirable country, the magnificent Grand Palace, delicious tropical fruits, the beach surfing under the blue sky... In order to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of headquarters employees, promote cooperation and exchanges between various departments, and enhance the cohesion and creativity of the headquarters team, on May 9 and 16, 2019, Star Silver Medical Union organized headquarters members in two batches to go to Thailand, the "country of smiles", to carry out a 4-day and 4-night Star Silver cultural trip to Thailand.
The first batch departed from the International Trade Building at 18:30 p.m. on May 9 and flew directly from Shenzhen Bao \'an Airport to Bangkok. Around 02:00 in the evening, we arrived at Bangkok airport smoothly, went through the immigration formalities, and took the tour bus to the hotel to rest. Although the journey is hard, but everyone\'s mood is high, and we are looking forward to these happy days of foreign travel.
After breakfast the next morning, we headed to the first stop of the tour, the Grand Palace. Located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, the Grand Palace is a massive complex of ancient buildings in the center of Bangkok, where King Rama I to King VIII lived. After 1946, the Grand Palace was mainly used for King Thai coronations and palace celebrations, and is now a famous tourist attraction in Thailand. My impression of the Grand Palace mainly has two points: one is magnificent, and the other is shoulder to shoulder. Each building has a glazed gold roof and colored gems, showing the royal majesty.
From the Grand Palace, cross the alley to the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, take a boat tour of the Chao Phraya River, and experience the life of people on the water in Thailand. On board, a beautiful wreath was presented by a local for each guest who came to Thailand, and we gave 20 baht as a thank you. And little suntanned boys sell bread and feed fish to tourists. I have to say that the fish in the Chao Phraya River are so big that a piece of bread actually attracts a large school of fish. We were on the boat, enjoying the breeze and the charming scenery on both sides, and after about 20 minutes, we landed on another body of water and arrived at the Jade Buddha Temple.
The Jade Buddha Temple is the place where the King of Thailand worships the jade Buddha and holds religious ceremonies, and is named for the jade Buddha enshrined in the temple. The temple has a jade Buddha hall, a hall of the former king, a cabinet of sutras, a bell tower and a golden pagoda. The shrine in the center of the main hall is dedicated to the jade Buddha, which is regarded as a national treasure in Thailand. The jade Buddha is 66 cm high and 48 cm wide and is carved from a single piece of jasper. Every time the season changes, the king of Thailand personally changes clothes for the jade Buddha, in order to bring good weather and peace to the country and the people.
The third day was still a rush. After breakfast, take a speedboat to the Golden Sands Island in Pattaya, known as the "Eastern Hawaii". The blue sea, blue sky, fine sand and white waves are the true portrayal of Jinsha Island. In the morning of Jinsha Island, the sun is not too strong. On the beach and on the sea, the noise and bustle are extraordinary, some people are playing beach volleyball, some are lying on the beach sunbathing, some are splashing in the sea, and some are sitting on a jet ski, flying on the sea, very lively.
In the face of dazzling Marine entertainment projects, we choose according to personal circumstances, I choose the undersea walk. Together with several colleagues, they changed their swimsuits, boarded the ship, put on a transparent oxygen glass helmet, and dived to the bottom of the sea in a depth of about 10 meters under the guidance of a diving instructor. There are so many fish under the sea, colorful, red, green, black, purple, yellow, very beautiful. Some naughty fish drilled out of the strange coral, not afraid at all, and reached out to catch it, the fish immediately swam around like arrows, but soon swam around again. The bottom of the sea is really a wonderful place, a world worthy of human exploration.
After the completion of the offshore project, we rushed to the next stop - Dongba Paradise. After lunch at Dongba Paradise, we watched an elephant show with folk culture characteristics. The elephants here are spiritual, and the young ones always jump up with their long trunks and laugh. Each time they perform, one elephant\'s trunk is connected to the other\'s tail, just like people holding hands. Elephants can perform acrobatics such as playing football and stepping on balloons. After watching the show, I felt a little distressed for these elephants, wondering how hard they had to learn these skills. From Dongba Paradise, we came to the tropical orchard, tasted the long-awaited fruit dinner, there are snake fruit, mangosteen, rambutan, dragon fruit, watermelon, durian, etc., the orchard, the table, the air are filled with the fragrance of fruit.
After tasting tropical fruits, we drove to a luxury private villa built near the sea, imposing and magnificent, because there is a pure gold Wanghai Guanyin golden Buddha, so named "rich gold House". This is a seaside manor, there are one beautiful castle after another, whether it is the top of the tower or the indoor murals, are revealed the word "wealth". It is said that the manor was built by a Chinese man for his mother, later donated to the government, and is now open for visitors to enjoy. No matter from the architectural style, or landscape environment, the manor can be called a fine art, beautiful. In the evening, we came to the Four Seasons water village of Durala, where we tasted authentic Thai snacks and felt the unique Thai folk customs.
On the morning of the fourth day, we left Pattaya to return to Bangkok, and on the way, we experienced the "riding Rui elephant" and worshiped the Erawan Buddha. Thailand is a Buddhist country, and following local customs, we pray for peace, health and good luck for ourselves and our families. In the evening, the guide recommended us to go to the Locomotive Night market, a famous online celebrity in Thailand. The locomotive night market in the drizzle is brightly lit, the crowd is huge, and the snacks here are dazzling, fruit, seafood, cake, fried chicken, chips, smoothies, beer... All of them. We tasted the famous volcanic ribs, seafood dinner, and saw the process of elegant and skilled fruit smoothies made by the Internet celebrity Fruit Xishi on facebook. Here is a paradise for foodies, where the fatigue of the day disappears under the temptation of delicious food.
On the last day, we packed our bags early and rushed to the Imperial Power Duty Free shop near Bangkok airport to bring a handwritten letter for family and friends and leave a good memory of Thailand for ourselves. Through the four days and four nights of the foreign trip, we broadened our horizons, understood the culture, products and customs of Thailand, and deeply felt the restrained and implicit beauty of the 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture. In this full and beautiful journey, everyone is happy to understand each other, help each other, encourage each other, and the close relationship between team members trust and tolerate each other, making the Star Silver family more united, more harmonious and more loving!
